6TH GRADE CONCERT BAND
Ms. Jenna DiMento, Band Director
6th Grade Band students will perform at least once per year, with a formal concert in May. The fundamentals of reading and performing music will be reviewed and reinforced during rehearsals using a varied repertoire of music and supplemental material. Students will also become familiar with the composers, culture, music theory, and history as they relate to the repertoire being studied. Additionally, students will review how to take care of and maintain their instruments.
Students are expected to practice their instruments for at least 5 minutes every single day.
